King Abdulaziz University Holds the Faculty of Sciences Forum for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research

The Vice President of King Abdulaziz University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Amin bin Youssef Noman, opened the Faculty of Sciences Forum for postgraduate studies and scientific research, on Wednesday (25 Jumada al-Awwal 1446) in the faculty theater, Building (91), in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences Dr. Suleiman bin Bakr Hawsawi.
The forum witnessed a presentation entitled “The Faculty of Sciences: A Journey of Giving and Achievement” and another presentation entitled “How proud we are of you.”, in addition to a visual display entitled “From the laboratory to the market towards a leading entrepreneurial research faculty, and presenting the success story of a startup company.
The forum's schedule featured a scientific poster event held across three sessions before the results were announced. The event was aimed at both male and female postgraduate students for masters and doctoral degrees, where (340) participations were submitted.
The Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research emphasized that scientific research is a cornerstone of progress and development for societies in various fields, including sciences. In fact, the university’s Faculty of Sciences has a long history in this regard, hosting numerous male and female researchers who have played a pivotal role in educating and graduating generations of scientists and scholars. These researchers have also contributed significantly to the publication and presentation of high-quality scientific studies in diverse disciplines. Additionally, the Faculty has been at the forefront of addressing the challenges faced by society over the years.
His Excellency added that the Faculty of Sciences has built a remarkable legacy of scholars and expertise over many years, a legacy that the university takes great pride in. This legacy is reflected in its achievements across all levels, particularly in the success of its graduates at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. Additionally, the Faculty has played a prominent role in supporting the university's diploma programs. |
