This hackathon aims to support tourism experiences in Jeddah and encourage youth and students to develop innovative entrepreneurial projects that enhance the tourism sector, aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 to diversify and strengthen the economy.

The hackathon saw extensive participation from students across various disciplines and local universities. It took place over two days, from November 22-23, 2024, at the Jeddah Chamber headquarters. The event provided a unique platform for students to present creative ideas aimed at developing distinctive tourism experiences, creating artistic and cultural events, and utilizing modern technologies to offer engaging interactive experiences that reflect Saudi cultural heritage.

The activities focused on three main tracks:

Interactive Park: Aimed at creating a tourist landmark combining technology and entertainment.
Jeddah Pulse: Focused on improving the experience for local tourists.
Jeddah through Global Eyes: Dedicated to attracting international tourists and enhancing their experience.

The Jeddah Cultural and Entertainment Tourism Hackathon is a significant step towards transforming creative ideas into entrepreneurial projects that support the Kingdom’s tourism sector, embodying fruitful collaboration between educational and cultural institutions to achieve Vision 2030.
