The MoU with the Ministry of Health covers several areas of collaboration, including research and studies, support services in health fields, blood disorder services, home healthcare, biotechnology, hospital services, and dental care services.
The agreement between the university’s College of Medicine and University Hospital and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties focuses on joint training programs aimed at developing healthcare professionals. The agreement outlines mutual obligations, including program accreditation, the appointment of supervisors for trainees, conducting final assessments, providing training facilities, adhering to program standards, and submitting periodic reports on the progress of the training.
Meanwhile, the university’s collaboration agreement with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority includes developing curricula, as well as training and educational materials. It also covers the provision of first aid and CPR courses for health college students, the training of healthcare and administrative staff at the university’s health centers, and joint scientific research efforts.
The agreement with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority aims to provide rehabilitative, training, and consulting services, as well as research and expertise exchange in various fields. It also includes recognizing the university’s laboratories as reference labs in multiple areas and implementing educational projects related to medical device regulations and artificial intelligence. Furthermore, both parties will cooperate in community awareness, voluntary initiatives, media representation in seminars and conferences, and supporting research in areas of mutual interest.
It is worth noting that the Global Health Exhibition in Riyadh is the largest health event in the Middle East.
