Prof Alyoubi receives Prof Philip Jones

Vice President for Educational Affairs, Prof Abdurrahman Alyoubi, received at his office Prof Philip Jones, of the University of East Anglia (UEA), UK.
The meeting was attended by Dr Mansour Almazroui, Director of the Centre of Excellence in Climate Change Research, and Prof Ahmed Al-Sa'idi, Advisor to the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
The visit is part of a programme aimed at attracting international globally acclaimed and prolific academicians and researchers to the university in the drive to make it a world class hub for research and learning.
Professor Jones, who will give lectures and share his expertise with KAU faculty and students, is a Professor in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia in Norwich. He has numerous research papers over the last 25 years.
The visit, according to Professor Alyoubi, was in tune with KAU's policy of seeking to provide a high-quality education and taking advantage of the capacity and expertise of local and foreign universities and scientists, according to Professor Alyoubi.
