Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya Visit to KAU

On Sunday 15/1/2023, Prof. Hana Al-Nuaim -Acting President of King Abdulaziz University- met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency, Mr. Peter Nicholas Ogigo, and his accompanying delegation, who are represented by His Excellency, Mr. Hassan Ole Nado, the President of the Supreme National Council of Kenyan Muslims, Mr. Isaack Ali Gure, Mr. Hassan Adan Jimalen Counselors to the Ambassador and the SUPKEM officials, and Dr. Abdullahi Salat, Mr. Juma Musa, both General and organizing Secretary.
KAU’s Acting President welcomed the Kenyan Ambassador and his accompanying delegation, with special emphasis on coordination of cooperation between both countries to support relationships bridges, especially by KAU promoted scholarships and research between our countries.
His Excellency, the Kenyan Ambassador expressed his pleasure to visit KAU and the continuous cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Kenya by referring
to a memorandum of understanding, that is in the process of concluding it between the Ministries of Education in both countries, and that the Kenyan side is keen to develop educational cooperation with Saudi Arabia, particularly in increasing the number of scholarships.
This meeting was also attended by the Deputy President for Educational Affairs, Prof. Adel Abu Zinadah, the General Supervisor of International Cooperation Agreements, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Wahhabi, and the Acting Dean of Admission and Registration Prof. Hamid Abdulraouf. |
