9th Student Scientific Forum of Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences inaugurated

Under the patronage of KAU President, Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, the 9th Student Scientific Forum of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences was inaugurated on Tuesday February 19th at King Faisal Convention Centre.
 
The forum is held annually since the inception of the faculty with the purpose of bringing together medical applied sciences specialists and students to deal with issues relating to medical laboratory technology, nursing, diagnostic radiology, physiotherapy and clinical nutrition", said Dr Haytham Zakai, the faculty's dean.
 
According to him, 32 papers have been approved to be orally presented, in addition to 65 submissions to be presented during poster sessions.
 
He also showed gratitude to the university's senior administration for backing the event.
 
Prof Tayyeb also made a tour of an exhibition staged on the sidelines of the forum.
