KAU honours Dr Damanhori

A dignified and moving ceremony was held by King Abdulaziz University (KAU) on Monday February 18th in honour of Dr Zohair Damanhori, the outgoing Vice President for Development.
The ceremony, which was graced with the presence of Prof Osama S. Tayyeb, KAU President, and some other senior KAU executives, was arranged in recognition of Dr Damanhori's outstanding 6-year service as vice president for development.
Prof Tayyeb gave a speech in which he said the event was being held as a mark of honour to Dr Damanhori's meritorious service and laborious efforts which were crowned with tangible achievements.
While giving Dr Damanhori full credit for his outstanding achievements, Prof Abdullah Mohorji, KAU Vice President, said he was convinced that Dr Abdel Fattah Mashat, Dr Damanhori's successor, would successfully maintain what Dr Damanhori had started in terms of developing and disseminating human knowledge.
In his speech, Dr Damanhori said it had been an honour for him to devotedly serve the University throughout his 6-year reign.
He also profusely thanked all those who had helped him to successfully carry out that challenging task.
