Renowned scientist visits KAU

As part the Highly-cited Researcher Programme,  Prof Han Zuilhof, Professor of  organic surface chemistry at Wageningen University, Netherlands, was received on  Monday January 11th  by Prof Adnan Zahed, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
 
The meeting was attended by Prof  Abdulaziz Wazan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and Prof Yahia Al-Hamid, Head of the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering.
 
Prof Zuilhof, whose work focuses on active organic surfaces and organic solar cells bionanotechnology, is scheduled to give lectures to share his expertise with KAU faculty and students.
 
The purpose of the visit, according to Prof Zahed, was to discuss aspects of mutual cooperation in scientific research in line with KAU's policy of seeking to provide a high-quality education and taking advantage of the capacity and expertise of other local and foreign universities and scientists.
